After several months of work, we’re proud to announce that we’ve launched the all new ReadyReplay!
This new site is packed with a ton of incredible features that we’ll be talking about in a series of blog posts over the coming weeks. Today we’d like to focus on two big changes to ReadyReplay: video management and highlight cutting.
One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is how videos are managed on the site. Videos now belong to the user who uploaded them, not to a team. This means that when someone uploads a video, they can choose to share it with any number of groups or individuals that they designate. This makes it incredibly easy to upload and share different videos with different groups of users, without having to go through the hassle of creating a brand new team for each.
Cutting highlights is an incredibly useful feature and we were never happy with how difficult it was to do on the old site. Having to manually type in the start and end times of your highlight was always a pain in the butt, and we knew it.
For this new site, we wanted to make sure that cutting highlights was quick, easy, and hopefully fun. As you’re watching the video and you come across a moment you’d like to keep, you can now simply click the ‘Cut Highlight’ button and you’ll be presented with our custom highlight cutting controls. You can drag the handles on the timeline slider to adjust the start and end times, preview, and save the highlight - all without leaving the source video. When you’re done, you can keep watching your video from right where you left off.
We’re really proud of this new site and excited to hear what you have to say about it. Hit us up on twitter or facebook and let us know what you think of the new site. Now that it’s launched we’re going to be hard at work adding new features to make getting the moments you want from video and sharing them with the world even easier.
